Leica DISTO D810 Touch

The D810 incorporates all the functionality of the smaller DISTO D510 but the bigger touch screen makes life a lot more interesting. Anyone who has tried to measure horizontal distances from a distance or from an inaccessible place will know how difficult it is. “Measuring with Picture” changes all this! It allows the user to take a picture, store it on screen, and then for example measure a width simply by moving arrows on the touch screen. Very simple, and wonderfully unique to operate.  It is intuitive, fast and accurate, but also the first DISTO to have an in-built rechargeable lithium powered battery pack as standard.

The DISTO D810 has two built-in cameras – a new high res wide angle camera makes project documentation easy – simply take a picture as you are measuring and then download the picture via USB to your computer. The  FREE Leica DISTO Sketch App uses Bluetooth® Smart to accurately transfer measurements, photos and sketch plans in a project, ready to email back to the office.

The Leica DISTO D810 can also link to any Windows 8 program and any iOS program opening up the opportunity to link to CAD, spreadsheets, or even email.

The intuitive touch screen display on the D810 touch laser measure can be customised to allow the most frequently used functions to be quickly available via an icon. Help screens are quick to access and get will get you up and running in no time.
