40 MHz, 2-Channel, 40 MS/s Industrial ScopeMeter Hand-Held Oscilloscope with Bus Health with Fluke Connect Compatibility
Fluke ii900 Industrial Acoustic Imager is designed for production facilities that rely on compressed air. With minimal training, maintenance teams can now inspect for air and vacuum leaks even during peak production periods. Equipped with an array of miniaturized microphones and the ability to easily isolate the sound frequency to identify leaks, background noise can be filtered, and leaks are easily identified. The 7-inch LCD touchscreen overlays a SoundMap™ - a visual map of noise sources using an acoustical array - on an image for quick leak location identification.
Leaks in compressed air, gas and vacuum systems hit both production uptime and the operations bottom line. Previously, the easiest way to identify leaks in a compressed air, gas or vacuum systems is to walk the plant and listen for them or conduct visible inspections with soap and water. However, only the most obvious, largest leaks make a noise detectable by the human ear while smaller leaks can go undetected. According to a study by the Compressed Air and Gas Institute (CAGI) an average compressed air system loses 30 percent of its air through leaks. If you can hear a leak, it is probably costing you thousand of dollars a year. The smaller leaks, the ones you cannot easily hear, or feel are a hidden source of wasted energy and productivity. While this is a known issue, locating air leaks has been a time-consuming and tedious, until now. With the Fluke ii900 Industrial Acoustic Imager your maintenance team can quickly pinpoint the location of compressed air and vacuum leaks, both large and small.
Fluke ii900 Acoustic imager offers a new way to locate issues using sound. It is an intuitive, simple to use tool that can isolate the frequency of leaks or vacuums, even in extremely noisy production environments. A leak location is determined by discerning the direction from which a sound originates by the time delays that occur as the sound passes over an array of microphones. A SoundMap™ is displayed in color over a visual image allowing for easy visual location. With the full array of microphones, it is easy to scan a large area and even capture leaks from a distance.
